On a particularly wet Thursday morning in the beginning of August I travelled into London with Anna from Bride and Glory to be a part of Hannah and Frankie's Chelsea Register Office Wedding followed by an intimate reception at Il Giardino.
I'm just going to share my favourite memories - visually and by the written word.
So - the day began with Amanda transforming Hannah and her bridesmaids and this make up artist is a veritable mine of information. She is also a friend of Hannah's so there was a lovey relaxed vibe to the morning preparations.
They had opted for a small intimate wedding but Hannah had put the same effort and thought into all of the details. Her dress was very Audrey Hepburn, her veil was Cathedral length and quite frankly her shoes were divine. The bridesmaids were in impressive height heels and the flowergirls were super cute in pink Converse.
Hannah takes the prize so far for the most divine lingerie and her Myla knickers were incredibly sexy and cute at the same time. She looked AMAZING but you'll just have to take my word for it.
When Hannah arrived at Chelsea Old Town Hall she was quite nervous and a little emotional - this image takes me right back to that moment.
The first kiss as Mr and Mrs.
Whilst we waited for Hannah and Frankie to appear for the confetti I enjoyed watching Elfine and her 2 friends busily preparing themselves for it.
I love this photo because it was a very sweet moment between Elfine and Frankie. As a wedding photographer you are constantly watching and observing for these very brief human connections.
Hannah and Frankie got engaged in St Luke's Church which is a 2 minute walk from the Register Office so that's where we headed for some photos. Despite our very best efforts to gain permission for this beforehand we had a few problems on the day. But our perseverance was worth it!

Hannah and Anna had made a plan to take photos of the guests with polaroid cameras for an album. I suggested that bringing an old frame might give it a focus and a theme. Everyone - old and young - loved the magic of watching the photo appear before their eyes. And I'm with them.
One of Hannah's brothers sang and played guitar for about half an hour. His son was so proud of his Daddy and desperate to be a part of it. It was a struggle to keep him away from the mic. I just love to watch the inhibitions of young children.
Lighting the candles transformed the ambience as the light dropped.
My last task was to capture the throwing of the bouquet. You can tell from the image that there was only one serious contender. And yes, she caught it.
Frankie took Hannah to the Maldives on honeymoon - to the same resort that my husband took me for our first holiday together. I have no doubt they had an incredible time. xx
