I won't forget Elizabeth's face as she opened the door of Kingscote Park house when I arrived - I was in my wellies with a coat and umbrella. It had poured with rain since I left my home at 7.30am and it continued to pour until about midday. I don't think any of us, with the best will in the world, believed that it was going to clear. But clear it did.
Elizabeth looked stunning. Every detail was beautiful and she was radiant all day long.
Because they had already been at the Matara Centre for Friday afternoon and evening there was a very relaxed feel to the morning preparations.
Nicole, the bridesmaid, was a little star all day.
The preparations in the bridal suite were lovely and calm - despite a slight emergency with the shoes minutes before the ceremony. I'm still amazed how Elizabeth's lovely mum had thought of everything which meant that we even had super glue to hand...
The ceremony took place in the cloistered courtyard - I loved the relaxed nature of the flowers that Elizabeth chose to display in jars around the pond.
I always love this picture - this is the first moment after the ceremony that they took in that they were married.
Despite it being a bit damp underfoot we went for a walk through the grounds to get a few shots of them together.
I had to take them back for a picture by this pile of logs that we all loved in the pre-wedding shoot images.

The speeches were incredible and there wasn't a dry eye in the room. I love this natural affection between Elizabeth and her dad.
The best man's speech was perfect - very funny but also warm and affectionate.
He was totally caught out by his own emotion.

The first dance was brilliant. Elbow's 'One Day Like This'. They rocked it.
