Ben & Zoe's Pre Wedding Shoot in the ruins at Cowdray Park

On Saturday I got together with Ben and Zoe for a venue visit and pre-wedding shoot. They have chosen the very beautiful Walled Garden at Cowdray Park for their reception and I'm looking forward to photographing them amongst the incredible flowers and borders on the day. As they are not able to use the ruins of the Tudor house on their wedding day we decided to base the pre-wedding shoot there - and what a treat it was for me.

Everywhere I turned there was another potential backdrop or quirky photo opp BUT we only had an hour and I could have spent a day in there.

It was great to be able to get some big compositions with the couple small in the frame but these two are so lovely together that I was soon zooming in to capture the emotion between them only 3 weeks away from their big day.


I noticed these loopholes as we walked into the ruins and love these two images of them framed by the stonework.

Here we found a balcony in the one covered part of the ruins which you reached by an old spiral staircase - that's where they are sitting in the image with the rope balustrade.



Just adore the colour of this brickwork with the contrast of Ben's blue clothing.


I'm not blogging the next few images in this series - let's just sat the Zoe had a Marilyn Monroe moment... ;)

Very, very much looking forward to seeing these two in just over 2 weeks time. Thanks for being such fun on Saturday - it makes my job a pleasure.
