We met on Saturday in the hot sun to finalise the details and shoot some pre-wedding images. Paul is interested in photography so I was attempting to tell him how I was metering and why whilst taking these. It was also useful to explain why bright sunshine is bad news for portraits.
BUT good news for being able to sit people on the ground outside. I've been driving up and down the M6 for my teaching sessions in the Lakes and I've been very struck this year by the sheer abundance of daisies lining the verges nearly the whole way. But can you find them when you want them, in fields, camera in hand? Not so easy. That's why the warm weather combined with the incredible display of daisies, buttercups and wild orchids last weekend was a dream for me!
